E39 M5 Aerial replacement

The aerial came off in the snow a few moths ago so I stuck it back on. About 2 weeks ago it again fell off but on the motorway. Where can i get a replacement? Also i notice that some cars do not have one, Why is that?

Lack of Comms pack would probably negate the need for an antenna.

Buy a new one through BMW mate

Oh, tried a little 'no more nails' ? No need to take it off ever, make a good job of it and I doubt it would ever fly off again.

I've tried the sticky pads for interior mirrors - don't bother, doesn't work. Used a super-glue style product IIRC in the end - could lift the car with the thing, now.

I had stuck it down with Araldite but i guess the mix must have been wrong ?
