It has the extended warranty with still 6 months to run, same with the tax. Great condition, December 2005 model, new tyres, computer showing service in 9000 miles, tracker, tv, etc...

£27,750

I'm quite happy with that, what do you think?

One question, will I have to re-subscribe to the tracker?

Thats a good buy. Well done.

Id be framing the warranty though...it may come in handy.

laugh I was thinking just that when I read this post. Awsome cars but f**k me dont they get expensive when they go wrong which seems to happen far to easy for such a prestige car! eek

I'm so glad you decided to buy an M5 otherwise i would never have got my hands on your excellent TVR griffith. Good luck with the new purchase.

I'm looking at 06/07 m5's but am terrified at the idea of owning one with little to no warranty left...

Anyone come up with an aftermarket warranty for peace of mind???

Congratulations.
Maybe you should get it checked out by a specialist so there's enough time in case you need to make a claim on the warranty?

Hi Simon, yes I miss the Griff already. I wish I had more time and money and I would have kept it. Perhaps I'll get another when and if I get more time.

Enjoy the car.

Can't you just renew the current warranty?

Not sure I understand what you mean, could you explain? There is still 6 months to run and I will be renewing it.

If it treats me as well as my Griff did then I will be happy.

Buy an AUC and renew the BMW warranty.

Sorry a BMW Approved Used Car. I just got a M6 as a AUC. You get 12 months warranty with an AUC however this can be extended until the car is quite old / mileage is quite high (I forget the exact cut off points but I think it's something like 100,000 miles or 9 years). I think the M-car warranties are more expensive to extend once the car is past 60k miles.

AUC? I'm buying privately. Is the BMW warranty that comes with the car still OK?
