faulty fuel injector on e46 M3

just had the car diagnosed with a faulty fuel injector on cyl 6
when i start it up in the morning its rather lumpy for a bit but then once its warmed up its fine for the rest of the day, had it down the garage today who gave the above diagnosis
anybody else had the same problem?
what kinda money are we looking at? the part is main dealer only from what i can gather
