M6 + M dynamic mode + wet road = scared myself
Discussion
Had the M6 about a month now and still getting used to it. Coming home tonight the road was wet I had the DSC in M dynamic mode and P500-sport engaged. Came off a roundabout, gave it some power and frankly the car started to spin. Managed (through luck rather than talent) to catch it. I really didn't think I'd over done the power (ok I've had a 4 wheel drive 911 for the last 3 years but had a E46 M3 prior to that so have had some practice RWD cars) but was suprised by how quickly the car started to spin with seemingly little warning. Has left me quite wary of the car. Appreciate that the issue here is probably a lack of talent rather than anything else however is 'M dynamic mode' too much in the wet?
It's an animal of a car - more so than the armchair beards would have you believe. Even in the dry it will try and mis-behave with the safty net in place.
Too much in the wet? No. One can never have too much power
Just be careful out there. Der will be along in a second to advise you further.

In my E60 M5 in 400 mode on wet round abouts it has popped round a few times. I came from a Evo so I guess its habit of putting the power down too early in these cars.
When the roads are wet, the traction control just keeps flashing away when on the gas. You just need to be very gentle with the gas and apply it later than you normally would.

Thanks to all for replies. I think my issues is as 'Testa' says above in that I've got very used to a 4X4 911 and am still using the power as I would in that car.
it's why i love the //M's - they demand some tact and craft to driving them. 4WD cars make you lazy.
remember this... if you are coming out of the bend and UNWINDING the steering you can accelerate pretty damn hard without spinning. You will certainly get oversteer if you accelerate but are holding the steering in.
Balanced throttle in the bend, and accelerate and unwind the steering as you come out.
Now think about your lines and your throttle balance and the car will reward you. enjoy!
