Anyone got one? Comments feedback?

I know there's not much power gains to be had but just wondered what your opinions were?

Had one for the e36 M3. If you want better noise from your engine, this will absolutely do the trick over the standard airbox - perhaps there are even better filters/intakes out there on the market, but I never found I wanted more noise than this delivers. I didn't really notice any massive gains in performance but if, like me, the noise is a big part of the experience, you'll love it. I fitted it myself, it is dead easy (particularly if you've done other K&N's before) although you do need to screw through the exisiting heatshield (small price to pay if you ask me). For the first 50 miles or so after fitting, the car is noticeably keener to go, but this eventually tails of back to what I assume is normal performance. But you've still go tthat noise! A cheap mod that will give you a big grin. For what it's worth.

With the greatest respect Steve, is the "improved" noise a greater emphasis on the standard cars musical induction (an M strength IMO), or a little more .... er ..... Saturday-night-at-McDonalds?

Just removed one from my z3m and have gone back to standard airbox, it was loosing up to 10 bhp over standard and in my opinion was st. I didnt even like the sound it made, I much prefer the standard noise of the M.

You can have mine if you want I will post it on for nothing, Im back from UAE in June so just let me know! ( the fact I see it worthless shows my opinion!)

Do you car a favour and get a simota induction kit from Evolve in Luton it will actually improve power and do a god job.
