Not really played with all the toys since getting the car last week. However decided to try the comfort access yesterday. Couldn't get it to work so changed the battery in the remote and still no go. Won't open or lock the doors and neither will it allow me to start the car without inseting the key.

Any ideas?

What's comfort access meant to do by the way?
I am looking at buying a car that has this feature listed but no idea what it does.

Enables you to open and lock the doors and to start the car without taking the key out of your pocket (well it does if its working).

Its essentially the same as Merc's keyless go.

WRT the battery, my Bro has trouble with his and I believe he's been told there are TWO batteries within the fob - one for the 'normal' functions, and one for the Comfort access.

I'm out with him tomorrow so will ask if its sorted and what it was.

Its a personal choice, but if i was getting a car that could have this function, I'd want it. Its very handy!

Are you sure you have enabled the comfort access function in the settings menu in I-Drive??

I did look through the menus but couldn't see a comfort access setting. I'll go and have another look. Do you recall where it is in the menus?

Thanks
