Got 12 months to run on my PCP for my Z4MC with a GFV of £21500. (May 2007 car)
My misus is now in the club with number two. So got to start thinking of a reluctant change.
Spec is:
Black Sapphire
Light Sepang Bronze nappa leather
storage compartment
Front Heated seats
Nav professional
Bluetooth phone prep & Telematics
Tracker monitor
Milage 16000. FSH.
Not much on the market to compare with. Any thoughts. thanks.

Having recently bought a Z4MC, I would say yours is worth a grand or so more your GFV for a private sale. They are in short supply at the moment and at the right price they sell quickly. Prices seem to be holding up/even increasing at the moment so I would advertise at just under £23k. If you can hang on longer I don't think you will loose much more in the coming months.
Don't know what a BMW dealer would offer, they would probably want to pull your pants down and do the business......

John,
Your car is not dissimilar to mine (same colour inside and out, similar spec).
Major diffs on mine are:
- 2006 56 car
- about 18k miles
- No Tracker Monitor
I was offered 18k as a starting point trade in from a BMW dealer about 2 months ago, but believe prices have firmed up slightly from there, so I would say 23-24k for a private sale is probably on the money.

Could just about get away with one child (Misus walks) only joking she has her own car.
With two children i'm just gona struggle picking up from nursery etc.
I will have to get rid. Will not be a good day when it comes. Thinking Maser Quattroporte or M5 at the mo, they both seem very good value 3yrs old.

If you have a second car anyway, i'd 'manage' with yours until it reaches the end of its PCP deal, which you're realistically talking is 5 months after the birth. With two children i'm just gona struggle picking up from nursery etc.

You will be in a fantastic buying position with no car to trade in, particularly given your car may not be worth its PCP price by then.
