just swapped my M3 for a Z4MC
Discussion
Hi Guys
After 7 months with an absolutely brilliant E46 M3 SMG I decided last week to take the plunge and sell it for a new toy!

Have just spent the last 3 hours driving it back from the dealer and its fantastic! Its surprising just how different it feels compared with the M3 - more involving, lower slung and more responsive, however doesnt have as loud an exhaust and I think the M3 'felt' quicker although I dont think it was!
I am really looking forward to taking it out for a blast and getting used to it fully - it seems a much more challenging car to drive than the M3!
Also, I can highly recommend the dealer I bought it off - Thunder Road in Wakefield - really helpful and couldnt do enough! gorgeous selection of cars there too! (mainly Porsches but some BMW's too)
The M3 also went today to its new owner - which was a bit of a mixed feeling as it was a faultless car that drove superbly - but I just fancied a change! Hopefully they will enjoy it as much as I did. That car was an SMG so again its taken some getting used to getting a manual car again! (If I could of got a Z4M in an SMG I would of - but obviously the option was never available)
Will keep you posted on how it goes and my experiences with the Z4M but so far so good!
Chris

Congrats, almost bought that car a month ago but couldn't agree price with the dealer (although he was very helpful).
Out of curiosity what did you pay for her in the end? PM me if you prefer but understand if you'd rather not say.
Hope you enjoy many miles of fun, I've had mine nearly 3 weeks and absolutely love her!!
