M3 E46 funny clutch noise

Hi,

One of the lads at works M3 is making a funny gridding noise when the clutch is pushed in ? any ideas ?

That's the release bearing. It's a cheap part, but the pretty much the same work as a clutch change.

The grinding will get worse, until it breaks up and either drags the clutch, or just won't disengage at all!
