Yep, seems a tad optimistic even given the low mileage. If it were perfect and required nothing (unlikely) then I'd have thought £8.5k tops - personally I'd rather a bit higher mileage with lots of recent work to something that has (possibly) just been used for lots of short journeys.

It's not actually the most expensive E36 I've seen recently either!

Nice example, low miles, one owner FSH but a little strong on ££.

banghead

If you wanted to sell a car for top dollar, you'd at least bother to put decent pics on the ad, Shirley?

That one for 16k is actually in Ireland and the price is 16000 euros. Mainly due to the stupid import taxes to register a car here.
Still way overpriced though imo!

I brought one into ireland last year and the duty was €1100, but that has since gone up to €1890 for a 1996 M3 Evo, and the annual road tax for mine over here is €1580

Not worth our while bringing them in anymore, most are just track day cars over here now.

Back on topic, that car looks very pricey. My better half is in the market for a 36 m3 at the moment, and reckon we can pick a 94 or 95 one up for about £3-4K in good condition and history

+1

Really nice car, assuming that the condition is as attractive as the mileage.

Bit optinistic on the price. Handing over £7500 to £8000 would be a fairer deal, therefore between £1000 and £1500 over "asking" price IMO

Best combo? One of the best for sure, however I agree that wood isn't attractive

Import taxes? I thought both IE and UK are in the EU (duty free area) but looks like the Irish people have beeen screwed again.

Looked at a genuinely mint 40k miles car last year, 2 mature owners, probably never used hard, I think £8k would have bought it but it was black/black and looked like a hearse, a nicer colour and I would have bought it.

Convertables are 10 a penny. Unless they are rare in this guise as a cab?
Check out how many decent coupe's there are. Not many at all now with low mileage.
