M3 e46 Individual

Just seen a e46 M3 Individual for sale.
What is the "individual"? Was it just a factory order? whats different about them?

Individual means that it was ordered with a paint colour or some interior trim that weren't on the stock price list.

A common e46 M3 Individual is one in Estoril Blue, which wasn't a standard colour.

You can get some weird and wonderful Individual gear like on board fax machines
