Hi Guys, Any recommendations for induction kits on the E46 M3, I don't want to spend more than £300 but there seems to be a few out there, I've already fitted a Scorpion backbox, and once the induction is improved I'll then get a remap done.

your welcome.

Bit harsh, so suggest that you refit your oem back box put the scorpion on E-bay, use the proceeds plus your £300.00 and buy 100 cel cats you will then notice the difference, rather than just announcing your arrival.

However tuning your driving ability is very "sound" advice

How come the E46 doesn't respond well to an induction kit in the same way an E36 does? Did BMW do such a good job out of the box?

That's good info, hadn't even considered that as a mod.

Assume you're talking standard E46 box, rather than CSL.

Straightforward to do? Decent gains (vs Simota or similar)?

I bought my M3 about 6 weeks ago and it has one of these fitted already so have never seen the original box. I don't know anything about 'Gruppe M'; expensive trinket or is there any benefit to it bearing in mind that the original is so highly thought of?
