BMW M Convertible

I posted a while ago that I was considering buying an M6 converible. My criteria was for a performance 4 seater convertible.

There aren't many around and I test drover the new M3 convertible and was really taken aback by the quality of the DCT transmission. It did feel much slower than the M6, but it's a newer car and doesn't have the marmite transmission.

Has any PHer got the new M3 convertible and did you consider the M6? In either case I'm going to buy used.
