e39 M5 dash problem

Hi all,
yet another e39 M5 question that i am hoping you can help with.
I have a small crack in the binnacle, right in front of the odometer display, i am guessing that someone has attempted a repair of the pixels at some point.
Anyway, is there a smart repair that can be done to fix this, or can i change the plastic screen, or are you going to upset me and say i need a new cluster
any advice would be great!

Have a look on www.realoem.com, enter your chassis details and the line drawings will tell you what parts are available to remedy this issue.

oh dear - looks like a new cluster! unless someone can do a smart repair.

It may well be worth speaking to one of the salvage companies to see if you can reclaim one on the cheap!!
