Hi all,
I have a e39 M5 with CD based sat nav. The boot mounted unit has stopped reading the map disc, i removed all power to reset the unit and tried again and now it seems to have eat the disc and will not return it.
Does anyone know where i can get this repaired economically?

cheers

You would probably be better off getting a MKIII (£150) or MKIV DVD based (£300) nav from Ebay, rather than trying to repair your MKII or III nav.

IMHO, the MKIV is well worth the extra money!
