I got mine one month ago so was activily monitoring, and the cheapest i say were low spec 100K's on 2001 reg for 10500, most were fetching 12K for 80-100K with good colour combo and history.
Defo agree with last post, moeny pit unless your lucky. Then again vould be bargain of century ;0)

I dont think so, over the next 4- 7 months they will come down very quickly & this is just the start, in fact here's one even cheaper !

Sickeningly cheap and I am glad the CSL market hasn't nose dived like it as well!
So would u buy a 120k E46 M3?Whats wrong with them? Is it similar to the view on Briskoda about the Fabia vRS whereby 80k is deemed massive miles yet they will go on up to 400k.
I am just saying how cheap that car is.
Mileage is not a problem as long as the car has been looked after!
It hasn't needed anything mileage-related, but a couple of things age-related - a new battery, viscous coupling, Vanos bolts.
Luckily for me, previous owners absorbed a lot of the cost. The Vanos was changed at 80k, the diff has been rebuilt. I'd rather buy a higher mileage car that has had all the right work done than a lower mileage car that's just coming up to the point where it will need doing.

Engines should be fine, its all the other parts which tend to fail in my painful experiance.
Bushes, suspension, exhausts, electric motors, raidiators, spilt pipes.
You will then quickly realise why the cars are cheap buy- the cost a lot to run.
(A bit like the bond market, the prices falls to help buyers get a better return).
A cars price falls, as the risk, and the running cost get higher.
You have been warned.

But surely once you have bought it if you start replacing parts gradually then things will be fine/reasonable costs. i.e. New OEN exhausts last a good 8 years, so buy another OEM when it starts to go it'll probably outlast your ownership, new battery £80, radiator & oil cooler if they are in bad condition replace as soon as you buy it that way you get the benefit of the new part right from the word go and it might only need changing again when you get rid of it so let the next person do it, You could replace all the coolant pipes & windscreen washer & windscreen washer pump as well might as well get the niggly bits changed and then piece of mind motoring.Bushes, suspension, exhausts, electric motors, raidiators, spilt pipes.

Plus you can do most of those bits yourself - so only cost of the part.
