Do any of you guys know the correct steering geom for a Yr 2000 M5 - I have just had the tracking done and it seems to be wandering - feels almost like it is toe out? Thanks

Just the tracking ?
These cars require 4 wheel alignment to check / adjust as they have a lot of adjustment available both front and rear.
I have mine done every 6 months due to the state of good 'ole blighty's roads
I dont bother with BMW main stealer, think the last quote from them for what they call KDS was £290
Instead I use my local Chemix that has a Hunter 4 wheel alignment machine and a dedicated technician operating it, had mine checked couple of weeks ago and my o/s/r wheel required some camber adjustment which in turn altered the front slightly so that was adjusted too.
Noticable more stable on drive home at national speedlimit.

Thanks for that - I will probably have to get it booked in with a specialist.

No probs, just make sure the specialist can do 4 wheel alignment.
The chemix that I use also does a lot of cars from local garages that find it cheaper to take cars to them rather than buy the dedicated equipment themselves.
If using chemix, the operator types in the year/make/model of car, loads up the suspension as required then fits the alignment sensors to all 4 wheels and the Hunter machine displays the current settings against what it should be.
I always ask for a before adjustment and after adjustment printout.
I think a check only is £10-20, any adjustment pushes that upto £50-60
