New M3 coupe tires...

I've got the 19'' wheels on my new M3 coupe, tires, comapred with the room left by the rims, seem too skinny to me and leaving plenty of rim area exposed and empty...Did any of you changed tires fixing wider ones?

I'll be soon ready for the first tires change and i'd like to choose the proper sizes, thanks/Giu
