Looking at buying an E46 M3 coupe tomorrow.
Its 2005 (55) model, that still has BMW Warranty until November when it becomes 3 years old.
Does any one know how much it's likly to cost to extend the warranty.
I should have rang up about it today, but never got round to it.
Rough idea would be nice if poss.
(car has done around 45k it it helps.)

£650 pa I think, until it hits 60k miles. About doubles after that until 100k when they will wash their hands of it.
The BMW warranty is quite 'selective' and doesnt cover a lot of things. ie exhaust/battery.

Hi Simon,

The BMW Insured Warranty is very flexible and renewal is going to cost anywhere between about £396 -> £951 based on which option you go for.
Providing your car is below 100,000 miles you can select from three different levels of cover, and within each level of cover you can select a £0, £100 or £250 excess for each claim, and you can also choose if you want Emergency Cover or not - and you can choose to pay monthly or annually.
