E36 M3 Centre Console and Handbrake Tray Removal
Discussion
It's easy, as said just remove the ashtrays, unscrew and the handbrake tray comes out.
What's more tricky are some of the screws on the drivers side where the centre console mounts inside - when I changed mine there was some kind of pipe in there, Im assuming that was something to do with a/c or heater. I had to prise a piece of the dash apart to get my screwdriver in there.

When I removed my console the I had similar issues, if its the verticle pipes I belive there dash board supports. What's more tricky are some of the screws on the drivers side where the centre console mounts inside - when I changed mine there was some kind of pipe in there, Im assuming that was something to do with a/c or heater.
