Hi all some advice needed, Have take my car out of storage were it has been for the past 18 months, It was not looking good after all this time so i had it fully valeted, They took out the front seats to shampoo the carpets, On the passerger side you have a cable attched to the seat that was disconected to remove the seat. On puting theseat back in and reconecting the cable the air bag light now stays on. Was not on before so it must be this, (I think).

How do i fix this or is just for the dealers to do.

Thanks in Advance.

Have they connected everything back as it was ? Worth a check - had a similar problem with the drivers seat in mine which was simply a loose connection.

They have not disconnected the battery for long enough before removing the seats, thus not alowing the airbag system to fully discharge.
Pop into a BMW specialists who will reset the system for you.
Failing that, it could be a number of things.
Passenger seat sensors are prone to failure.

IF they took out the passenger seat they'd have disconnected the airbag sensor. An easy fix - as stated above just take to somewhere that can reset it.
