M3 warranty

Hi I have an E46 M3 SMG convertible April 04 mileage 35,000. Just been offered warranty for one year at £650.Includes gearbox/vanos. Thing is just had it MOT,ed and only did 3700 miles last year passed no problem. Do you think the warranty is expensive/unnecessary?

Depends on the cover you get, but it's not hard to spend £650 on repairing an M3, so it's down to you whether you want some extra peace of mind.

Yes it is an expensive warranty but impossible to say if it is necessary.They are cars, sometimes cars break down, sometimes they dont.

I'm looking to buy an M3 Coupe at about the same mileage. Would like to get a good warranty when I get one, can you tell me who offered one covering Vanos etc?
