hi guys, finally decided (very reluctantly)to put my z4mc up for sale...wanted to know what you guys thought it might fetch. Ive been reading a few threads which suggest that prices in general are not as strong as they once were. Im in no great rush, however, getting married and moving house mean that i need some cash!
spec is as follows... 07 sapphire black, red imola leather, sat nav, blue tooth, TV, heated seats, park distance control, electric folding mirrors, sun protection glass, cruise control.
run in service and 1st oil service all carried out at correct intervals, mileage is 11k, the car is in great condition, how much do you think it should fetch?
thanks for you advice... will be very sorry to see it go

I'd say £26k-£27k for a private sale, although its hard to find a private buyer with that kind of money to spend in cash. If it does not sell after a few weeks, you could reduce it to £24-25k to speed things up.

If speed is really important, then I would expect a main dealer to pay around £22k. It will take a lot of phoning around to find a dealer who wants to buy it at the moment. You will of course get a few offers of late teens from dealers just trying to nick it.

Your car sounds great, I am in the market however I cannot get around my need to have interlagos with champagne! I wish you the best of luck selling.

I would be keen to hear about ownership though. Just so you understand, the Z4MC is getting me out of my much loved 993! Im depressed as I am excited about buying the BM!

+1, i'd say £25K private up front though i dont think it will shift.

I'd say your best bet is to shop around for the best trade in deal - be prepared to travel

Is it practical though? Are the seats a nightmare to keep clean?

to be fair i've not had it long enough to tell, though i don't envisage any problems... i have cream leather in my TVR and dirt was never an issue...

you should really clean and treat your leather regularly so i don't see what difference it makes what colour it is smile i think its just a personal preferance thing
