I am currently in the market for a Z4M Coupe, am I correct in thinking tax for these cars (regardless of when registered) will be £400 per year?

Enforced already. I paid £300 last year, will pay £400 next month.

Not until April 2009 (the £445 bit that is, will still be £300)

you're right, my mistake! It's the extending of the bands to (M?) that starts next April.

I would be delighted with £400. It costs me €1492 per annum for tax here in Ireland. Cars registered from July 1st 2008 of similiar ilk are €2000 per annum.

I guess you just have to get your monies worth!
