As for the kit, Koni tend to be very firm. I've not heard of a lot of people using the Koni stuff on the M3. Most usually bite the bullet and go either Eibach or Bilstein (both use similar internals), which never generates any complaints.

thats how i find myself looking at a conventional spring and damper setup.
p.s i belive its the eibach and kw variant 1 coilovers which use the similar damping unit.
