Switching off engine problem

Hi, When I switch off the engine, rather than a clean stop, the engine slightly coughs/splutters before coming to a stand still.

Also when the engine is hot, after a long run, and I try to start the car, it fires on the second crank of the engine, rather than the first (immediate).

Any ideas pls?

Sounds like an injector maybe leaking
