E39 M5 corroded brake lines
Discussion
As the title suggests my dealer has informed my the rears are in a pretty bad way. The ball ache is that apparently you need to drop the fuel tank to replace them.
Has anyone done this, if so who do you suggest? I assume upgrading them the stainless lines is better but who supplies them? The dealer quoted around £850 for the same job on an E36 M3 but they have never done an E39 m5-help!

ugh... sounds like a nasty job and I expect a dealer is going to be pricey!!
Get a second opinion off an independent like Bexley Motorsport (www.bmsport.com 0208 304 9797) see what they quote. I only suggest them as I happen to know that Jags who co-owns the garage drives an E39 M5 himself so he knows these cards pretty well.
Give him a call.
Good luck
