E92 M3 recall?

I just had a call regarding a recall on my E92 M3... I've actually sold the car now, but wondering what the recall is about. Has anyone else had this done yet?

It was something to do with the exhaust.

Mine went in yesterday for it to be done. The lady in service showed me the pictures of what has been done. It looked like they had braced the 2 exhausts together and put gaffer tape round part of the exhaust to stop rubbing. on the chasis.

Well, I'd expect it on a £50 quid sh%tter, but on £50+k worth of BMW's finest,....... they certainly don't make them like they used to.

But, hey, your car, your £50+K, so long as your happy with it.

Just one thing though, doesn't heat reactivate the glue on the tape causing it to peel off?
