I need a new rear tyre after kerbing it and taking a piece out of the side wall. At the moment I have Continental's all round, Is it an issue to have different types of tyre on each axle ? I was thinking maybe somthing like a Goodyear Eagle F1 and keeping the Conti's up front.

As lomg as the tyres are within 2mm on the back owing to the LSD then no, no problems whatsoever with different ones front and rear.

No, the rears must be within 2mm of each other to prevent 'wind up' which can caused diffs to explode owing to their LSD nature.
The fronts can be any depth of tread or make.
