IIRC you've got the 'small' brakes as on the 3.6.

I've got Ferodo DS2500s on all round at the moment, and they work great when up to temp, but are a bit crap on initial bite and there's quite a bit of squeal & dust.

Farrell on the M5 Board has sourced some custom pads (about £200 for a 4-corner set) which work from low temps to very high temps, don't squeal & do not produce loads of dust. Someone in Germany got a custom set of Pagids made up to his spec but had to do a minimum order to get a decent price - unfortunately they were all gone when I wanted a set. Info on both should be on the M5 Board (or via PM to Farrell).

I'm getting some big brakes from a late 3.8 on mine in a month or two (just waiting for the owner to part the car out) and am holding on until then.

Don't know how many sets he ordered for each caliper, or whether he just does an on-demand service though.

On my 3.8 with the larger calipers I have EBC Reds which are excellent, Pagids come highly rated too.

Brembo do good OEM standard disks and can be bought just about anywhere. Euro Carparts may be worh chatting to as would GSF and people like Motormec.

I'm using a pad material supplied by Darren Farrell (Darjac Racing). Excellent results so far. Better than Ferodo's and as good if not better than the Pagid Blue's.

M3 CSL No ! (edit- now could be) 850 CSi yes

Although of course a different P/N does not mean it wont fit, IIRC the CSL disc is drilled, so maybe thats the only difference (just looked on realoem & it is drilled)

I have them all round on my 3.8. They are OK but it's a big car it's never going to brilliant in the stopping department unless you spend big bucks.
