Looking for E36 M3 Buyer's Guide

I'm looking at getting one of these however I'm a bit of a BMW noob.

Does anyone know of a good guide that covers common issues or pitfalls that can be seen from a general inspection? Warning signs or things that need checking that one might miss that indicate trouble that are specific to these models.

BWM Car Magazine did a buyers guide not long ago. Buy a back issue for a few quid from the publisher and away you go!

This has been covered hundreds of times on here. Grab yourself a cup of tea and do a search on this forum for buyers guides and common problems.

The ebay guide is the sort of thing I was looking for - something which lists common faults than can be checked by a non-mechanic before going any further.
