This weekend coming up is rounds 9&10 of the Kumho BMW championship at Donington.
There will be plenty of people there on the Saturday which is in fact a track day (not sure if it is sold out). On the Sunday it should be a good days racing, including the BMW's, Ferrari open, and British Truck racing.

I'll be there with the guys from Bexley Motorsport so come and say hi if you are there.

No Jeff.... this series isn't televised, shame really as with over thirty cars on the grid it makes for some great racing.
Video clip here from my car at Pembrey.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fu5OyI-gwgc

Great video i'm so jealous, i would love to do something like that it would be a dream come true,
You got a great start there just a shame you followed the one in front onto the grass and the one you past didn't like it too much gave you a tap from behind tut! tut!, your e30 goes really well you were passing some quite easley, loads of mods on her i expect but even standard its got to be one of my all time favs the m3 evo.
So when is your next race and is there any way of keeping tabs on how your doing would be interested to see how you get on fella?
good luck with the racing houlbt all the best jeff
just checked out www.bmsport.com is that anything to do with you as i see it on the car?
edit sorry just read your earlier post the bexley motor works guys you were there with them i see
just watched the video from silverstone great bit of driving fella if you didn't have the spinner in front of you at the start recon you could of easily been up in the top 2 or 3 was the end of the vid the last lap? you seem to have loads of straight line speed compared to the rest, good job keep it up.

Thanks Jeff... I was a bit ambiguous in my prior post, my car is an E36M3 whilst I posted a pic of one of the other cars on our team which was an E30.
This is mine...
I'm still learning, this is my first season out, I'm happy the car is competitive - just the driver who needs a little work now. This season I'm actually being followed (along with the rest of the bmsport team that is ) by BMWcar magazine with me writing up our escapades from each round for the monthly issue.
So far as things go this season I am really enjoying it. The championship is fielding great grids and the competition is close. In between races the drivers are a great group we have some good laughs. Ultimately it's the strength of the BMW Racing Drivers Club which has made this championship sucha success for so many years. (see www.bmwrdc.com)
The guys at Bexley Motorsport have been great for me, their approach is relaxed and we have a lot of fun/banter but when push comes to shove they know what to do and how to do it.
We've already done Pembrey this season which is a shame as I guess that would have been the easiest one for you to get to. Championship results are published on the BARC website - http://www.barc.net/competitors/saloon_cars/kumho_...
This seasons calender is as follows...
Round Date Venue
1 + 2 5th April Silverstone (Double Header)
3 + 4 19th & 20th April Rockingham (Double Header)
5 + 6 10th & 11th May Pembrey (Double Header)
7 + 8 7th & 8th June Brands Hatch (Double Header)
9 + 10 26th & 27th July Donnington Park (Double Header)
11 + 12 9th & 10th August Snetterton (Double Header)
13 + 14 30th & 31st August Croft (Double Header)
15 + 16 27th September Oulton Park (Double Header)

The only one close to me left in the season is oulton park but still a 3 and half hour drive but could get permision of the wife for that one as it just so happens to be my birthday on the 28th so she can't say no hahahaha, say if i did turn up to watch any chance i could get down in the pits for a nosey, would love to see how it all happens i know its not F1 but still would be a WICKED day out for me, of course i would stay out of everyones way or if you needed a extra pair of hands would be more than happy to help would be a pleasure?
You like the profile pic yes, that's wales for you mate rain! rain! rain! but couldn't resist plowing through that big puddle, no one was walking past honest was a bit of fun on another rubbish wet day in wales, also i took it to put into a competiton, which consists of your car and a theme every month and for this month the theme was WATER so thought that had a chance of winning , will find out if i win next week!
Anyway will keep tabs on your progress and of course all the best for the rest of the season!
