Just had some new pads put on the front of my E46 M3 and a warning light has come on on the dash. I believe this is because the pads aren't bmw pads and the sensor has been removed with the old pads. I've heard you can get replacement sensors. Can anybody confirm this and if so how easy/difficult are they to fit.
Thanks in advance

If you don`t have a sensor fitted, the light will never go out!
I wouls think a sensor would cost maybe £7-8?
Easy to fit too....
A rear brake pad sensor from BMW stealership on a Z4 3.0 cost me £12 last weekend, would imagine they are all the same. Its suprisingly long!

That said if you not using OEM pads they may not have the cut out to slide the sensor into?
