Hi guys, I am encountering a strange problem and would be great if anyone can advice.

It has happened once or twice before but recently the problem is becoming increasingly persistence (It has occured 3 to 4 times within the last week)

The problem occurs within the first 5min since engine ignition.
My car stalls when I step down the clutch as the car is coming to a hault or coasting very slowly.

Has anyone ever come across this problem or has any suggestions as to why is this occuring? Does it has a more serious implications than simply stalling?

It is one of those problems where you cant just bring it to the dealer because it does not always happens so it is hard to test it out... I am due to go off to an EU road trip soon and would be keen to make sure my car is given the greenlight before I set off.

Many Thanks.

Sounds like idle control valve and it should be stored in fault history, just take it in, doesn't cost you anything as car is under warranty.
