Lardy old e36 M3

Put my 3.0 on the corner weight scales at the wk end, not quite as lardy as I thought.

Bog standard fully trimmed coupe, just got bbs 17s.


1/2 tank of fuel & with spare wheel-

I guessed just over 1500kg-

I recently want back to a standard rear box, had a nice fruity Magnex jobbie on before but tad loud for quieter tracks & the bloody stock item was 10kg heavier!! 22kg vs 12kg!!

So bog stock car full trim. 1/2 tank minus spare & with a magnex rear box 1427kg, not really that bad.

Heavier than I thought actually, thought they were lighter than that.

CSL with between 2/3 and 3/4 tank full was 1424, that is with AP brakes that are lighter, and Intrax which I believe might be a bit heavier than stock.
