e36 M3 GT/GT2

I'm looking for some info regarding the GT and GT2 if anyone can point me in the general direction. I've tried the search on the site using a number of different variations and get nil result each time.

Hoping to start a search for one over the next short while and would like to do a little research into them.

The GT is the only one that was actually altered in performance from the standard 3.0 M3, it featured uprated cams (to give 295hp instead of 286), aluminium doors, part carbon interior etc.
The GT2 (based on the Evo) didn't feature any performance enhancements, basically it was just like any other special edition and only featured cosmetic enhancements (spoilers, wheels etc.).

Some good info there cheers. Didn't realise that the LHD version was the only one that had the power increase and that the 50 UK cars were basically dollied up 3.0's.
