Nav/TV on E46 M3
Discussion
It is worth £2k less according to Glass's (well it was in the Oct 07 guide) and a further £750 less without 19s.
Personally, I'd buy one without nav and 19".....£2k....... buys a £800 Pioneer D3-BTI Nav unit (which is 10* than the OE unit) and the remainder on a nice set of non-chav 18" BBS wheels.

I initially wanted one with 18" and SatNav/Tv thingy - as I do think it makes the centre console look a little more modern...
But they are rare - I couldn't stand the 19" 'shinny rimms' and didn't like the ride difference (in terms of transverse movement) - but they are surprising hard to find in the aforementioned combination.
I recon you had two schools of buyers - those who were more driver focused and those who are more image focused.

The nav argument always makes me smile. If you believe it:
Pay more now for a car with nav and get more for it come resale.
OR
Pay less for car now and get less come resale.
Personally, for older cars around the £15k level, I believe condition and mileage is much more important than nav or 19s.

without a doubt, a clean genuine low mileage car with no nav or 19's is more desirable to me than a thrashed high mileage example with shiny bitsDeutscher said:
The nav is nowhere near as good as a TomTom and the 19s are for tarts – drivers go for 18s every time.
Sorry, don't agree about the Nav. with all the upgraes which can all be done for free with a bit of patience and the Internet the Nav comes into it's own. You can enable postcode search, perspective view and speed cameras and also the information section can be very useful finding petrol stations, car parks hotels etc.We have a tomtom 720 for my wife's car. It's good, but not that ( ^ ) good.
