best place for pictures of modified e36's?
Discussion
Haven't seen one nice bodykit for the E36 M3... Looks best standard with a a lttle suspension drop (on order) and either standard motorport wheels or ACS Type III's. Smoked front indicators help (also on order). The certainly don't suit anything bigger than 18's.
Here's a few pics of my newly acquired M3. Awesome car. I was only planning to use it as a stop gap before getting something else, but it'll be on my drive for much longer I suspect.

just thinking:

non m3 mirrors
bmw splits
no boot spoiler.

I love the look of the M3 mirrors, especially with the blue tinted glass.. but they are tiny!!Just ordered a set of Eibach Pro-Street Coilovers & anti roll bars.. plus a heap of other performance parts.
looks like a nice car you got ;-)

just thinking:
decent coilovers - mine is on Intrax 1K2 coilovers - awesome, but not cheap.
non m3 mirrors - why? It'll de-value it if you take them off and they're fine.
bmw splits - alloys you mean? Just buy one with them.
no boot spoiler. - hard to find as standard. Mine has one, but not for much longer. Easier to find a 4-door without a spoiler.

Would love to see what you could do to an E36. Only thing to note is that the BBS LM's, which suit the shape the best, are not available in staggered fitment for the the M3 as the rear offset is too wide. I pleaded with BBS and they don't do a 9J with a big enough offset. Annoyingly the will supply a set for the Z3M
My M3 has been fairly substantially modified but I've kept the OEM look by retaining the OE wheels and replacing the stty spoiler with the much beefier GT2 version. I'm more interested in performace than how it looks though. My m3 is now pumping out an estimated 335-340bhp with plenty more to come this year.
Mind you, if BBS did the LM with the right rear offset, I'd have a set in a heartbeat.
Get yourself over to Bimmer Forums, http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/forumdisplay....
It's a largely american site, so both M3's - 3.0 and 3.2 come with 240bhp (chuckle). There are some stunning cars over there! Have a browse.
