Does anyone know how much it is to extend the warranty on an Z4M/CSL? Did the price change or is it still over a grand?

Thanks in advance.

There are now three different levels of cover, namely comprehensive, named component or driveline(which covers main engine and transmission components) available with or without emergency service, and with three different levels of excess, i.e no excess, £100 or £250.

Prices for M3 with less than 60k miles range from £951 for comprehensive cover, with emergency service and no excess, down to £396 for driveline cover, without emergency service and £250 excess.

For cars over 60k miles, prices are £2235 for comprehensive cover with emergency service and no excess, down to £802 for driveline cover without the emergency service and £250 excess.

Is that for 12 months?

Yes, that's for 12 months unlimited mileage.

There's an article on it in this months BMW Car magazine.

Policies taken without the Emergency Service cover still include roadside recovery to the nearest BMW dealer, but don't include home assistance, European cover or courtesy cars etc. You can also pay the policies up monthly.

Have you tried third part warranty providers such as warranty direct? Wife's mini cooper s was £550ish with BMW versus £250ish with warranty direct.
