One of my clients recently sold his 750i and picked up a rather stunning looking, dark blue M5. He always said he would let me have a drive in it, but as the weeks have gone by I thought he really didnt mean it. That was until yesterday!!!!!!!
What can i say?? it is without doubt the best car ive ever driven, including a Cerbera and E55 AMG.....car just felt so much smaller that it actually is and that engine!! although it sounds frankly crap at idle, once on the go it sounds the dogs bks (even better with a Tubi I imagine??)
Performance was understandably breathtaking and the head up display seemed so natural, every car should have it, even the paddle shift gearbox seemed to work well
So im off to save my pennies and see how much those lovely bmw dealers will give me for my mx-5......

Should try an M6 - makes the M5 seem a little cumbersome
but an M3 makes an M6 seem a little cumbersome. The whole point of the M5 is that it does what it does AND takes five people and their luggage. The M6 does very little that the M3 cannot.derestrictor said:
