Hi Guys, Has anybody any experience of using the Tein Super Street M Coilovers? they seem good value but would be interested on your thoughts or experiences?

Stop messing about and get some Bilsteins or something decent instead.

yes

A few of the track boys have tried them and reckoned Tein should stick to what they know and leave the Euro stuff to Bilstein.

Bilstein costs more but I bet you didn't realise that most of the very high end supension on the market uses Bilstein componentry. There's a reason for that. It works.

I think the opening post should read:

"What's the best suspension upgrade for an E46 M3 for £1k, fitted".

In which case you might get better value out of driver training tongue out

Simpson Motorsport provide Intrax which if you are in the know, is very high-end gear. My friend had them fitted to his E46 SMG Cab,the results were mind blowing. I had them fitted to my previous M3 EVO and was very impressed.

I would also strongly recommend Intrax, i did some back to back tests with Moton, Intrax and Leda, the Intrax were a very close 2nd to Moton but for 40% less, very good quality, sold a few sets for the E46 now

Intrax 1K2 kits for an E46 are around £2.2k + fitting, which is around double what he wants to spend. Although I do agree that it is very good kit (when your droplink mount doesn't sheer off furious)

This happened while I owed the car. I managed to get it repaired under warranty. Simpson said if it happens again they will provide a whole new damper. Call them up and speak to Anthony Mott and explain the situation. He may well send you a new damper....
