E30 M3 Scuttle Panel

Hi all,

Sadly the time has come for me to replace the scuttle panel on the E30 due to the dreaded rust in the corners.

Im looking for a recommendation of a bodyshop who has experience of replacing these as I have been to a few who look seem pretty unsure about it. Im in Essex, but willing to travel for a decent job !

Mines being done by www.sprcoachworks.co.uk soon, if you get in quick they can pratise on yours!

The guy who runs it has done quite alot on E30 M3's in the past and i'd recomend them. Might be a bit far at around an hour from the dartford tunnel

I'm having a full bare metal respay with the scuttle, arches and rear number plate panels replaced so not really sure what they would quote.

I haven't had a quote off them for the work yet as i'm not sure i want to know!

Yes, I think you best be sitting down when they quote you for that !

Hi mate.

I can't help with which body shop but I'm in the middle of this at the moment and removing the scutlle is a PIA.
