North London Garage Recommendation

Can anyone recommend a garage in the North of London - Highgate/North Circular area - I am rather sceptical of my local dealership...

There's a garage near me (Muswell Hill) that've done a lot of good work for me - Maple Autos, speak to Nick.

There are some top M experts south, west and east but few in north London. I know of somebody in Rickmansworth who will look after your car, but not Muswell Hill / Highgate.

What about around Docklands? Any good ones that can do some good work with a reasonable price?

I want to prepare my E46 M3 as a track car but can't be bothered to travel to Throney every time I need sth done.

As mentioned above, Highams Park are not too far from Docklands. But there is Bexley Motor Works, in Bexley (funnly enough ). These guys do a lot of track prep work for customers.

I dropped my car off to Bexley on Saturday, and ended up staying just long enough to work out where the next £5k could go into my car...

Bumped into a guy there with a Kumho prep'd M3 - wow! De-Vanos'd, lightened clutch/flywheel and the thing revved like a motorbike! Incredible looking and sounding machine.

That's one hour drive to Thorney,(Milton Keynes J13 M1) and you can wait, they have net connections etc,etc if you want to work, you will however spend more that you want too, not because they are pushy, but it's motorsport heaven.
