Just ordered a set of genuine CSL wheels for my Z4 M Coupe. They will arrive next week with PS2 tyres on.

Anyway, What is the best tyre pressure to run these at?

Currently I keep my pressures at the upper end of the scale that BMW reccomends. I have no real evidence that this is best, but it seems to work well for me. With some fairly hard driving and one track evening they seem to have worn out very evenly, which I guess is good sign. The grip seems to be fairly predictable too.

Anyone got any real knowledge about what is best and why?

Try 29psi(F) and 30psi(R), I think most people with the CSL's are running these or there abouts.

29 and 30 PSI sounds a littel on the low side to me, but as I said Im no expert so I shall do more homework.

In the finest of PH traditions, I will of course post some pictures.

I am about to do the same thing and get a set for the summer for my SG Roadster. Do you mind me asking where you bought them from and how much you paid??

Thanks for your help.

You bugger, I considered myself immune to the temptations of bigger wheels for the Z4MC but now I'm seriously tempted scratchchin

Cheers chaps.

After a bit of fiddling around, I seemed to have settled on 32psi(f) and 34psi(r).

Seems pretty good so far, and of course I love the look of them.

I bought a set of these rims for my Z4MC from the same fellow and was very pleased with the deal and more importantly, the after sales attention that I received due to a small problem, ( nothing to do with the quality or condition of the goods purchased you understand ), and 'would recommend highly' as we say in ebay circles, ( no pun intended ).

Yes he certainly is a nice guy. I had a small problem too, he called me straight away, and now I am happy. Very easy to do business with.

Although I see a set froma nother seller on ebay a few days ago that been powder coated black, with new CSL Cup tyres on!! Im sure they would look very nice on the right colour car.

^^^Funny you should mention that, they where advertised on here too but I just missed them, Damn & Blast! They had 200ml old Cup's on them and where described as unmarked, and all for £1K! I have had my CSL's coloured satin black and my Z4MC is also black, looks mean as hell yes

Now I know where those Rims came from... ! same place as mine..!

Run 36 front 37 rear cold...to get some stiffness in the sidewalls on PS2's.. this works fine on the track.. after much trial and error and chalking up tread blocks..

I dont know how heavy your Zed is.. but it wont be far away from from mine, similar weight balance..

looks fat by the way... v nice... biggrin
