when i unlock the car i hear a noise in front passanger side

The only noise you really get with E46 SMG is a high pitched whine/buzz(could relate it to a huss of air) from the front left and thats the SMG hydraulic pump priming ready for drive (0 to 80 bar and takes 2-3 seconds).
If thats the noise you hear then its normal.Other than that all you should hear is the doors unlocking.
