Hi All,

Firstly I would like to say that I really did try a number of searches along the lines of BMW / BMW M3 mobile inspections etc etc, so apologies if this is a repost. I am looking at getting a BMW M3 and the 2 I have looked at are in the Berks / Surrey / London area like me. Can anyone recommend someone to do an E36 M3 Evo Convertible inspection. Or is an AA / RAC one ok? I just though that with Vanos etc someone who specialised in the car might be much better?

Cheers,

Thanks, I have searched his name and he does come well recommended doesn't he! I just have to get hold of him, which is proving to be a challenge! He needs a secretary or something! wink

As a 'one man band' he is a hard man to track down, but wel worth the effort. Mobile is better than landline.

Otherwise try Gary @ Autobahn Services in Rickmansworth. He knows Phil well and they both have huge experience. Gary really knows his older M cars and is an Alpina enthuasist too.

You could give Darren Farrell (Darjac) a ring (07807 689538) - based over Colchester way, but does mobile inspections. Highly recommended by me, and a lot of others on the M5 Board.

Thanks guys. I managed to get hold of Phil in the end, and he's been kind enough to drive over and see it on Friday. All going well you may well see me on here alot more, hopefully not asking for any advice though, just gloating about my new car. wink
