Keep reading that a facelift is due later 2008 - will the changes effect the M3 or is this concidered a seperate model?

I have a 4 door M3 on order for Sept with the DCT gearbox and dont want to order a pup if the facelift effects M cars.

Cheers

Historically the E46 M3 did not receive the facelift. the rest of the range did however.
It may be bad buisness if they did as a private plate would no longer hide the age.

I thought the E46 M3 did receive a facelift on 53/04 plate onwards - not as severe as the rest of the range I grant you but I'm sure there were some changes during its life.

mmmm that does look a little strange!!! I thought they changed the shape of the boot as well, and more importantly made some changes to the internals of the engine at the same time to make it less likely to go pop?

Yes they enlarged the bolts that hold together the big end.

Other than that, I dunno frown
