Hi Guys,
New to the forum. I posted this question in the general forum got some decent answer with a general suggestion to ask here!
I'm about to go out and buy an M3 E46 SMG Convertible at the end of this month. Anyone any suggestions/thoughts on this car? Anyone know of any common problems to look out for?

cheers
Steve

Steve,

Excellent choice of car - it will certainly put a big smile on your face.

An enormous amount of information is available on the M3 forum at www.mtorque.co.uk

Use the search facility and you will pull up lots of information on what to look for - many others before you have wondered the same, so the answers to your questions are waiting!

Best regards,

Steve

Buy one with a metal roof that does not open and a multi-directional stick between you and your passenger, as an option the stick may light up at its top just to confirm its locationbiggrin

Great choice. Enjoy. Would recommend that you get one with hard top if budget stretches. Had mine about 9 months and the hard top for winter is great.
