M3 as a daily driver - how many miles do you do?
Discussion
Morning,
How many miles do you currently do in your M3 / M5 a week?
I currently have a Z3M Coupe but only use it at weekends and the like - for non work driving basically. I use another car for that, but am thinking it might be time to use the M Coupe every day.
My commute is 30 miles each way, 5 days a week. So 300miles of commuting a week.
Always worried about adding more miles on the car (its at 70k at the moment!).
Be interested to see how many miles you guys do?
Thanks

I travel all round the country in my E60 M5 and do 1,000 or so per week.
It averages about 18.5mpg as it's mostly motorway use.
It's on 30,000 at the moment. I'll sell it when it gets to about 50,000 (late summer).
The only down side is it will probably be worth about £4.50 then.
I can't grumble too much though as it's a fun way to get about.
I had an M3 a few years ago and did similar miles in that, ditto a 911 in the mean time.
They're all pretty good as every day propositions I think.

did approx 50 mile round trip per day in my E36 M3, great car, perfect for the daily commute, fun, fast, comfy, returned around 26 mpg (a-roads and city driving mixed). Would reccomend it, but make sure you buy a good one, i had the dreaded V-word fail on mine and ended up staring down the barrel of a £1700 repair bill.

I'll give you £10 maybe more LOL!
I do about 300 miles a week in my e46 m3. It has high miles 106k so mileage don't really bother me. I bought a high mile one for this reason so i would enjoy the car and not worry too much about depriecation.
