aparently there are loads about my 2 local dealers between them have 4 new ones i know of.

think a lot of people are waiting for the smg version and a lot of people put of at the 60 price when specced up

so i would have said yes there should be deals to be done

I dont know about the manual but I was told the MDSG (is that right?) wont be available with a discount until late 08 at the earliest.

MDCT ... guess it depends how it sells. They'd have said the same about the regular manual until they had them sat there in their showrooms gathering dust.
We'll have to wait and see on the DCT version.

I'm surprised at there being discounts on the MDCT already - they chap who told me they're not available on discount is a good mate (so I thought! hehe) and I was asking out of curiousity rather than a potential sale.

A new M3 might be closer than I thought...

Go for a 'cancelled order' and ask for the 'unwanted' options to be thrown in free. A friend's just done this and got about £3k off.

There's a brand new white one in Vines Redhill and yes, they will discount it as it's been sitting in the showroom for some weeks and they could really do with getting rid.

It's well spec'd, speak to Jonathan (new car sales) who will be able to help you wink
